Travelling to San Jose gives you a chance to try their famous Costa Rican coffee.

Coffee is a big deal in San Jose. It’s the capital of Costa Rica, after all. As such, it is home to quite a few coffee plantations and roasters who produce some of the best brews in Central America. It’s not just about tasting the different varieties at local shops; you can also learn about how coffee is grown and processed through tours of these plantations throughout the city.

There is an incredible national park nearby that is worth the trip.

As you can see above, there are many wonderful things to do in San Jose and the surrounding areas. If you're looking for something to do that will get you away from city life but still give you an experience of Costa Rica's beauty and culture, consider planning a trip to Parque Nacional Volcan Poas. This park is the second most visited national park in Costa Rica, so it's not like it's some secret spot only people who know someone who knows someone else can visit. But if this is your first time visiting, then you'll be in for quite the treat!

The park includes three different sections: Los Gemelos (the twins), Miravalles Volcano and Vulcan Poas Volcano. Each of these sections has its own unique offerings. While hiking through Los Gemelos, visitors will find themselves surrounded by lush green foliage and pristine streams that flow down from above—the perfect way to escape urban stressors while still experiencing some nature therapy! Visitors can also choose among several different trails that lead up into both volcanoes within this area: one goes all the way up to point 1234 meters high on Miravalles; another takes visitors past waterfalls before reaching an overlook at around 950 meters above sea level on Vulcan Poas; another takes hikers further down into the crater where they'll see views of both volcanoes at once!

If you're in Sacramento and looking for things to do, don't miss a trip to the California State Railroad Museum. The museum holds more than 300 locomotives and railroad cars from the 19th century through today, with exhibits that include a fully functional steam engine train used during World War II. It's also home to one of the largest collections of narrow-gauge railcars in the United States.

The museum is open every day except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (and special events). Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for seniors 65+, kids 3-12 years old, active military personnel with ID cards and children under 3 years old get in free!

If you have young kids who love trains (hint: all kids love trains), then this is your place! There are activities throughout the museum geared toward children including train rides around an outdoor track where they can drive their very own locomotive (how cool is that?). If you have older kids or teens interested in learning more about trains or history they will enjoy hearing stories from some of our knowledgeable docents while exploring every corner of our historic buildings on foot or by railcar tram tour through our outdoor yards where many rare examples still operate today!

It was built in 1935, but it has been renovated several times since then to ensure it remains functional for years to come.

The Tower Bridge was designated as an official National Historic Landmark in February 2000 by the U.S. Department of Interior because it represents one of only three remaining examples of a large vertical-lift span truss deck girder bridge still open to vehicular traffic in North America (the others are located at Whitehall Street and Grant Street).

This is one of the oldest buildings at the zoo, built in 1931 by architect Willis Polk. The Reptile House is home to crocodilians—caimans, alligators and crocodiles alike—as well as other reptiles like snakes and tortoises. You'll also find frogs here, plus many small mammals such as rats and mice that feed on those frogs! The Reptile House is open year-round so you can visit anytime.

Let's be honest. You're probably not coming to Sacramento because you want to visit the California State Capitol Building. Maybe you're in town for a conference or meeting, or maybe you have family here who are hosting an event at one of the city's many museums and galleries. Whatever your reason for being in Sacramento, remember that this is still an actual city with its own culture and history—and it has a lot to offer!

There's no need to limit yourself to government buildings while exploring this city; there are plenty of things to do outside the capital building itself (which is actually open for tours if you haven't been yet). If you're into food—and who isn't?—visit The William Land Park Zoo & Botanical Gardens, located right next door. That's why I've created this guide for the holidays that fall on the second Monday of February. You'll find out what they're called in your region and when they are celebrated there!

Family Day is a Canadian statutory holiday celebrated on the third Monday of every February. This year, it falls on February 18, but that date may vary depending on when the weekend falls.

While Family Day is not officially recognized as a public holiday in every provincial jurisdiction (British Columbia being one notable exception), it's nevertheless an occasion for families across Canada to get together and spend quality time together doing whatever suits their fancy: going for walks in nature, watching movies or reading books together, visiting restaurants or parks--you name it!

Various regions of Canada have a holiday called Family Day.

You’re probably aware that there are many holidays celebrated in Canada, but you may not know about the third Monday in February. In this article, we’re going to talk about the holiday known as Family Day and what it means for you.

Family Day occurs on February 18th in Alberta and British Columbia. It's also known as Férié de Famille (French for "Family Holiday") or just plain old "Family Day." The day was officially recognized by all provinces except Quebec until 2010 when Quebec chose instead to celebrate St-Valentine's Day on February 14th every year instead of having its own unique holiday like other provinces do.

The origin of this holiday can be traced back to 1907 when Parliament established “Mother's Day” which took place annually on May 11th (Victoria Day) until 1921 when it switched over completely so that everyone could have time off work if they needed it most during those months instead of only once per year when possible because people had fewer days off then than now due to shorter hours worked per week being standard practice before unions negotiated better conditions resulting in layoffs due to reduced workloads rather than pay cuts due t reduced profits being common back then too but only if they weren't unionized themselves which meant most weren't since unions weren't very strong at first anyway so companies didn't really care much about losing workers unless they were unionized because even though unemployment rates were higher back then too due largely no doubt because minimum wage laws hadn't yet been implemented yet either so wages wouldn't necessarily make up much difference between working hard versus not working hard at all; therefore companies had no incentive whatsoever not wanting any type whatsoever despite protests from employees who wanted better working conditions often leading up strike action such as strikes lasting several years even decades sometimes even centuries
