Star Wars Weekends




Star Wars Weekends is every year event that no genuine Star Wars and Sci-Fi fan will favour missing. This annual tournament takes area at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Orlando throughout the four weekends of June. Can you think about being dressed in a Darth Vader costume in the baking sun of Orlando in the top of summer?

One of the foremost draws of the annual Star Wars Weekends is the film actors that attend the event. There are fan meets on hand with the likes of David Prowse, the actor who played the iconic Darth Vader in the authentic Trilogy. The 2008 event will be hosted with the aid of Warwick Davis who starred as the character Wicket in Return of the Jedi.

Another fun attraction is the truth that you can have your photograph taken with Clone Troopers who wander around the theme park or the everyday primary parade that facets many of the characters from all six of the Star Wars movies.

If you are looking for Star Wars Disney style, then some of the Disney characters have been dressed as Star Wars characters. Jedi Mickey, Darth Goofy and Princess Minnie attend the park. But the preferred would have to be Stormtrooper Donald, the place Donald Duck gets to go round the park in full Stormtrooper uniform. If you've got ever desired to be a Jedi, then you can take section in the Jedi Training Academy and research the powers of the force.

This year traffic has been promised some surprise announcements, and there has been an honest quantity of speculation around what these may want to be. For example, it has been rumoured for a variety of years that the Star Tours ride will be revamped with help from the LucasArts Light and Magic engineers. One of the more popular rumours is that George Lucas will make a look at the remaining weekend of the event. True Star Wars followers can solely live in hope.
