Visiting any country will help you understand the basic customs of the culture. Here we discuss the basic rites associated with birth and marriage. Understanding these basic and death-related attitudes will help visitors to the country understand.

Central to Hindu society is the reunification of two families through marriage. Adolescent girls have a discussion with the chosen husband, and the two are married. It is the unification of more than two people; the reunification of two families. Money, land, tradition and social comfort all play a role in this union.

India is moving slowly in the modern world in terms of marriage. Education and the more widely available methods of contraception have much more determined women in terms of marrying and why. As women take better control of their own lives, the middle class shows an increased tolerance for love between marriages. A long marriage can become a ritual of the past.

The rituals surrounding fertility in the naga shrines, from the offering of the fertility serpent god to the bestowal of the black stones, add the Kali Temple in Calcutta to an ancient cactus. When a Rajastra woman takes a pido, a yellow veil with a big red dot, she announces that the community has accepted the pregnancy.

Male children are respected in Indian society. When a boy is born, shells are blown in Bengal and Assam and drums are beaten in Maharashtra. When a girl is born, Rajasthani women hide behind our veils and grumble loudly.

In traditional Hindu houses all over the country, India, an ancient ritual is still observed over pregnant women, in which reference is made to raising a male child. In a society where women seem to take action, it is still evident that they are seen as second-class citizens.
