With its creamy salons decorated with intricate patterns, they cut through a road through Rajasthan to the former kingdoms of this state. Once upon a time, kings reigned, whose presence still resides in forbidden forts and fairy-tale palaces, transforming them into museums, hotels, and restaurants where detainees truly serve royal returns.
The 14 coaches of the royal train were named states of the former Rajput country, in keeping with the aesthetics and interiors of the royal past. Each lounge has a mini pantry and a lounge that provides hot and cold drinks and soft drinks, as well as a place to relax and gather. The train has two elegant restaurants, ‘Maharaja’ and ‘The Maharani’, and offers continental, Indian and Rajasthani cuisine with a Rajasthani atmosphere. The train also boasts a well-stocked bar serving enthusiastic drinks from Indian and international brands. Each coach offers a good selection of books.
In 1991, the Palace of Wheels was extensively renovated. The décor of the salons, bar-lounge has changed, keeping in mind the traditional aesthetic yet modern Palace on wheels. The toilets have been remodelled to keep the champagne clean. Each lounge has a colour TV and CD player.
There is a satellite phone on the device so you can communicate anywhere on the train via train.
